We use large amounts of energy to power our homes, schools, and businesses. When that energy is generated by burning fossil fuels, such as natural gas, greenhouse gas emissions are released, causing our atmosphere to warm. These emissions are the primary type of pollution causing climate change. Transitioning our buildings to operate using electricity and renewable energy is one solution.
