The first public workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 1 from 5:00 - 6:30 at the Union Baptist Church in Mystic. Please see the flyer in the documents section for more information.

GZA will be conducting field assessments within a portion of the project study area. If authorized by the property owner, GZA field personnel will look at each building’s interior and exterior to note features that relate to flood risk, such as the type of foundation, numbers and locations of windows and doors, and utility locations. The information gained during the assessments will help us learn about the buildings' flood vulnerability and develop recommendations to make them more resilient. All GZA personnel will be clearly identified with high visibility clothing displaying the GZA logo. Letters to all property owners within the assessment target area were mailed on December 21. A copy is also provided in the Important Documents section below.
