The Town of Groton is excited for the opportunity to repurpose the former Groton Heights School into a vibrant use that will contribute to the Town’s tax base, goals, and vitality.

The property has been vacant since 2007, and is the second Town-owned excess property to go through the Town’s recently updated Town Owned Property Re-Use Evaluation Process (Disposition Process).

The Town’s Disposition Process includes extensive steps and check points with the public and elected officials to collectively arrive at a preferred Project Concept / Development Team and Purchase & Sale Agreement, based on the goals and objectives as set forth by the Disposition Process and Town Council goals.
