Prehistoric fish weir

There is a fish weir in the Mystic River just below where Haley's Brook enters it. It's visible at low tide directly opposite the brick mill building on the Stonington side. I believe this to be a prehistoric feature. This leads to me believe that there is a high likelihood that there are prehistoric features directly around the pond and the culvert area. If you have not already done so, please consider reaching out to the State Historic Preservation Office to have them look at the site during the planning process.
