Keep roads wide

The width of Main Street at Riverview Avenue needs to be left as wide as possible to allow large fuel and trailer trucks to navigate that turn. We had to widen our driveway in order to park both cars off the road completely at 87 Main Street. Our cars were damaged twice if left on the street in front of the house.

If a sidewalk is installed starting at Pearl Street going East down the hill to Riverview Avenue, it needs to be south of the existing road surface and curbing needs to be added. The property owners on that side would need to cooperate. The North side of the road from the Church Driveway going East down to Front street cannot be used for a sidewalk if it is north of the curb line as it will destroy our driveway at 87 Main Street and our immediate neighbors trees, hedge and garden. These houses and properties have been in their present form for well over 50 years.
