Latest Project Update
We have officially shortlisted three highly qualified firms. Interview presentations will be held the week of March 23rd before a panel of Town staff, Board of Education staff, and a representative from the Athletic Fields Task Force. Once interviews are complete, we will move directly into negotiations with the top selection.
We are committed to transparency throughout the design and construction process.
To keep you informed about the progress of the synthetic field and facilities, we have launched Athletic Field Friday Updates.

The Task Force has representatives from Groton Parks and Recreation, Groton Public Schools, elected officials, and representatives from stakeholder organizations that depend on fields.
The AFTF is tasked with determining the number and types of fields Groton needs, what amenities those fields should have, and where they should be located.
